ZIPAIR Tokyo has announced the expansion of its mobile check-in service to passengers traveling on its flights bound to/from the US.
From August 28, the mobile check-in service will be available for passengers traveling between Tokyo Narita and Honolulu (ZG02/ZG01), San Francisco (ZG26/ZG25), San Jose (ZG30/ZG29), and Los Angeles (ZG24/ZG23). The service will then be available for those flying to/from Houston the following day (August 29 – ZG16/ZG15).
Available from 24 hours up to 90 minutes before the scheduled departure time, ZIPAIR customers will be able to check-in online via the website or mobile device. Passengers will have to scan their passport to complete the process. Those who want to receive a paper boarding pass or who are checking their baggage should proceed to the check-in counter or the baggage drop area before proceeding to the security checkpoint.
In addition, ZIPAIR states the service is compatible with TSA PreCheck.
The service is not available for passengers with incomplete travel information, without a registered address in the US, and those requiring special assistance. Passengers with unpaid ancillary services will need to complete the purchase online or contact the airline to cancel the service.
ZIPAIR Tokyo's mobile check-in service is also available for passengers traveling to/from Seoul, Manila (from Narita only), Bangkok, Singapore (from Narita only), and Vancouver.
